More About Me
Hi, I'm Anke –
Movement has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a dancer, I learned early on what it means to truly know your own body – its strengths, its limits, and how much it can achieve when you actually listen to it. Little did I know that this lifelong love for movement would eventually lead me to yoga.
In 2022, I came to yoga through a challenging and transformative period in my life. No big revelation – more the realization that I needed something to help me stay resilient while also finding rest.
I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Byron Bay – with a genuine interest in how movement works in the body. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, I immersed myself in yoga philosophy, anatomy, and mindful movement. The training not only deepened my own practice, but gave me the tools to guide and support others on their path.
Today, I teach with that same perspective – focused on the body, not just moving for the sake of it. My goal is to build flexibility, strengthen intentionally, and create space for real recovery. Not an end in itself, but tangible results.
